The Challenge

A large multi‑storey warehouse facility in Singapore needed a high‑capacity storage solution capable of supporting fast-moving operations within a dense urban footprint. With storage demand increasing and building expansion not feasible, the customer required a system that could maximize pallet capacity vertically while ensuring efficient and safe pallet handling across five warehouse levels.

Traditional wide‑aisle racking was no longer suitable due to space constraints and insufficient density. The facility needed a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) solution that could provide excellent selectivity, strong load capacity, and seamless integration with the site's existing fleet of material handling equipment.

The Solution

To achieve the required performance, the project team implemented a high‑precision VNA Pallet Racking System designed for maximum density, vertical reach, and fast pallet access. Rising 10.9 m and spanning five warehouse levels, it ensures smooth operations and consistent accessibility, delivering 92,052 pallet positions with 833–1,000 kg load ratings suitable for mixed SKUs and heavy‑duty storage.

Fully compatible with VNA turret trucks and guided handling systems, the installation supports efficient aisle navigation and accurate retrieval across all levels.
